Habida starts off 2018 with a bang! Releasing her new single “Searching”. After spending 2017 planning, recording, and rebranding, she has decided to start off the year in an unapologetic way. Searching is the first part of a trilogy “The Journey to I AM”. “I AM” for Habida is about being your true self. Being comfortable with your enjoying your journey, mistakes, failings, and embracing your successes. The trilogy is a musical description of her journey with her love for music, love and life. Habida's narrative says she has done it for the music industry, her fans and everyone else, but this time she does for the fulfillment of her purpose and her true self, in essence allowing her fans into the real her! Habida has a new sound! Which she has been looking for since the beginning. Qura Mark Rankin and Habida worked tirelessly on the I AM-EP AND MORE! Between L.A and Nairobi, flying back and forth. Qura started off Habidas career in 1998 when she was 17 years old and now as life would have it, we have gone full circle and worked together again after all these years to produce Magic!
