OFCOZO Interlude:
In this thought provoking interlude, Kenyan rapper, spoken word impresario and street poet Mufasa Poet offers us an analogically deep prose.
No one is perfect. We fall and we rise, we are wrong and we are right.
To survive here, we are all trying to do as much as we can, however we can.
The interlude further signifies that many times when life is hard, sometimes it's difficult to feel love, but it is the hard times that shape us to be better prepared for tomorrow. Adversity enables us to realize our full potential as humans and that self work gradually amounts to healing towards a better life.
There’s some comfort in being in a position where people hardly recognize or see you as a threat, or worth talking about, but that’s not for Mufasa Poet. He’s going to rise so he lets them do their talking.

I’m not an angel

You’re not a demon.
There's no heaven in my voice.
I live to escape the hell I sometimes come from.

Love doesn’t live here,
But once in a while, I build a tent, and it camps here.
Casually, I’m a casualty of what made me a beautiful victim
I casually avoid sugar in my tea, and I run from those gossip teas man

If that’s comfort, I’m out of it.
