There is so much freedom in being yourself is the inspiration behind this song. It has everything to do with believing and supporting what you stand for without feeling the pressure from the society or social media to change. Own it, own your beautiful flaws, own your story. Most times we can get swayed to act/conform to a specific way due to pressure but there's nothing more fulfilling than living and being comfortable in your truth. The truth is always easy to remember, coming from a personal point of view. I was bullied because of my skin colour and sometimes told I was too pretty to be dark skinned. No way that is a complement. There were many moments of doubt and pressure to look a certain way and embracing my skin and being comfortable in it became a journey that I will now look back at and appreciate going through because it made me who I am today. The confidence is here to stay and may it be contagious. True self/ colors can never be changed, it is haunting to live in a lie.

The song arrangement is a lyrical questionnaire begging the question "who/which one are you" creating a character contrast with some levels of humor to understand different characters, perspectives, opinions, beliefs with an open mind to embrace difference and uniqueness. Being unapologetically yourself is a priceless cost of freedom. POV, I will write a book.
