Kimi Djabaté is a guitarist, percussionist and balafón (African xylophone) player from Guinea-Bissau, a former Portuguese colony in West Africa. Djabaté’s music is enchanting and melodic, with touches of Afro-Latin swing accenting the gentle sounds of the balafón.
